Introduction & Brand Essence
Norm is a conceptual soda brand inspired by the calm, clarity, and quiet strength of alpine environments. Rooted in the idea of simplicity and restraint, the brand translates the feeling of crisp mountain air into a clean, modern visual identity. It positions itself as an everyday beverage that feels light, refreshing, and effortlessly contemporary.


Audience & Purpose
Designed for a modern, design-aware audience, Norm caters to individuals who value simplicity, clarity, and intentional choices in their daily lives. The goal was to create a soda brand that feels elevated yet accessible—moving away from overly loud and cluttered beverage aesthetics toward something more refined, minimal, and quietly confident.


Scope & Creative Direction
The project focused on developing a cohesive packaging-led brand identity built around a minimal design system. The visual language uses generous negative space, structured layouts, and a vertically oriented wordmark to establish a strong yet restrained presence. Rather than relying on heavy graphics, the identity emphasizes typography, spacing, and composition as primary tools.

The color palette draws from alpine references—cool blues, soft neutrals, and subtle contrasts—to evoke freshness and clarity. Every design decision was guided by the principles Calm, Crisp, Minimal, resulting in a system that feels clean, intentional, and quietly confident while maintaining a distinctive and recognizable presence across all touchpoints.
